I made some raspberry-apple crisp.
I should have used a less sweet apple, but it’s still good.

Oooooooohh! Very very nice, what route are you going?
Cream, thick cream, hot thick custard or ice cream?
For me it’s rhubarb or gooseberry crumble with thick custard.

Looks tasty! Although the before pic does look a little stabbing aftermath-y

That’s hilarious! My dad is the only other person I’ve ever encountered who like goose berry and rhubarb. He remembers the gooseberries growing up on his farm. I tried to find him a bush like it once, but couldn’t quite get the right ones.

Gooseberries are amazing. I used to sit with my mother ‘ top and tailing’ them, then sit them in a Pyrex dish, loads of sugar over them, then top them with the crumble mix.
It’s very tart, but absolutely lovely.
Rhubarb crumble with custard is equally as good.
